Kate sofria bullying.

Labour Day is celebrated annually on May 1 in many countries of the world, being a holiday in Brazil, Portugal and other countries. The 1886, held a demonstration of workers in the streets of Chicago in the United States of America.
This demonstration was intended to claim the reduction of working hours to 8 hours and was attended by thousands. That day began a general strike in the U.S.. On May 3rd there was a small survey that ended in a skirmish with the police and the deaths of some protesters. The next day, May 4, a new protest demonstration was organized by the events of previous days and ended with the launch of a bomb by unknown assailants in the middle of the policemen who were beginning to disperse the protesters, killing seven officers. The police then opened fire on the crowd, killing twelve people and wounding dozens. These events became known as the Revolt of Haymarket.
Three years later, on June 20, 1889, the Second Socialist International meeting in Paris decided on a proposal by Raymond Lavigne convene an annual event aimed at fighting the 8-hour working day. The date chosen was May 1, as a tribute to the labor struggles of Chicago. On May 1, 1891 an outbreak in northern France is dispersed by the police resulting in the deaths of ten protesters. This new drama serves to reinforce the day as a day of workers’ struggle and months after the Socialist International in Brussels proclaims this day as international demand for labor conditions.
On April 23, 1919 the French Senate ratifies the 8-hour day and proclaimed on 1 May of that year a public holiday. In 1920 Russia adopted the 1st of May as a national holiday, and this example is followed by many other countries. Although until now the Americans refuse to recognize this date as Labor Day in 1890 the struggle of American workers got Congress to pass the work day was reduced from 16 to 8 hours.
Until the beginning of the Vargas Era (1930-1945) college of certain types of factory workers were quite common, though not a political group constituted very strong given the lack of industrialization. This movement had been working at first characterized by possessing influence of anarchism and later communism, but with the arrival of Getulio Vargas to power, she was gradually dissolved and urban workers began to be influenced by what became known as Labour.
Until then, Labor Day was considered by those earlier movements (anarchists and communists) as a time of protest and criticism of the socio-economic structures of the country. Advertising labor Vargas subtly turns a day intended to celebrate the worker on Labor Day. This change, apparently superficial, profoundly altered the activities of the workers every year on this day. Until then marked by pickets and demonstrations, Labor Day is now celebrated with festivals, parades and celebrations alike.Currently, this feature was assimilated by even the trade union movement, traditionally the Union Force (an organization that brings together trade unions from different areas, linked to parties like TDP) performs concerts with big names in popular music and sweepstakes of home ownership. In most industrialized countries, May 1 is Labor Day. Celebrated since the late nineteenth century, the date is a tribute to labor leaders eight Americans who died were hanged in Chicago (USA) in 1886. They were arrested and summarily tried for conducting demonstrations that began precisely on May 1 that year. In Brazil, the date is celebrated since 1895 and became a national holiday in September 1925 by a decree of President Arthur Bernardes.
It points out that the character of the massive Labor Day, in Brazil, expressed especially by custom that governments have announced today the annual increase in the minimum wage. Another very important aspect of the worker assigned to the day was the creation of the Consolidation of Labor Laws - CLT, on May 1, 1943.

QUINTA FEIRA SANTA.

It is commemorated on April 19 the day of the Indian. Nothing morethan just honor the Indian, the original owner of land in Brazil, sometribes called Pindorama (Region of Palms). The Indians played a large role in our culture with their customs, and great is the number of words bequeathed to us. Many cities and some Brazilian stateshave Indian names, for example, Pará, Paraná, Araraquara,Piratininga, Mogi Mirim, Embu and several others, not counting ourneighborhoods such as Itaquera, Tatuapé, Vila Guarani and manyothers.
The Indians are social beings, that is, living in society, which is based on a code of conduct that know how to respect. They hadtheir laws, their customs, traditions and history. Although notfamiliar with writing, had a large vocabulary, which was transmittedorally from generation to generation. They like to dance and alwaysworshiped the music. The Tupi-Guarani linguistic family constitutedthe most important of our land. Several other tribes have an important role in our history, such as Tibiriçá, Araribóia PhilipShrimp (Poti) and others. In Brazil we have the National Indian Foundation (FUNAI), state agency created in 1967 by law 5371, toreplace the Indian Protection Service (SPI). It works in Brasilia,Distrito Federal. Among its objectives is the establishment of indigenous policy, administration and protection of indigenous heritage of indigenous peoples and their lands.
FUNAI postulates the demarcation of land for the Indians to selfsustain and maintain their culture intact. The entity is seeking toadapt to the constitutional guidelines for completing the process ofregularization of land and meet the needs of different tribes.
